cycle question?

I just thought of this today. Does anyone know if the amount of d.o.(disolved oxygen) has anything to do with how quickly a new tank cycles?

anyone have any ideas. Seeing how these good bacteria use oxygen.

I think you just answered your own question. De-nitrifying bacteria are aerobic, so the more oxygen, the better.
