My Heater Light?

I was just wondering if it was normal for the little orange light on your heater to turn off. When I plugged it in the light turned on, I went and did a few things, and 5 min. later I looked in and the little orange light was off??? Is this normal? I tryed adjusting the temp to see if that might kick it on. I even unplugged it then plugged it back in, but still no light? Please tell me if this is bad! Thanks in advance! :duh:

perfectly normal ... the light goes on when the thermostat turns the heater on and likewise off. the heater cycles as needed to maintain the temperature you've set it for and thus ....
