I often ask for fish books as Xmas presents. If I provide an ISBN number I can usually get the book I want. I am wondering what your choice would be for a book to receive this year.
If you are like me and love apisto's your choice would probably be Uwe Romer's book Cichlid Atlas #1. 1,300 pages, 1,400 photos and amazing information.
This book includes the Doctoral Dissertation that Romer did on Apistos. It has exhaustive information about breeding and includes the best info available on what determines sex ratios. It was published in german originally but the english edition is great. I think that some of the species names have changed but it seems like the names of Apisto's change a lot.
This is really a great book. You can get it from a number of different places including Amazon at:

What other books would you like to get for Xmas?
