How do I treat ick?

I just did a water change and noticed that 2 of my platies have ick. I think a couple of tetras might also have it. How do I treat this? I have some platies, neon tetras, an anglefish, some pygmy cats and a bunch of 2 week old fry from a platy. Will the medications kill of the fry or should I move them? Please help!

i have some surviving fry from when my 2 platies got ich, actually 2 neons and the platies both did die from ich but the fry are thriving ...amazing how fast they grow...


i used the salt teatment ,entioned and actually have just turned my heater back down.
