I've never seen one that I know of. Does someone have a pic or link. I've kept fish for years and in the past year keep hearing about ottos. So I was curious to see what they look like. Please don't laugh.

Okay I guess I have seen them before. Most of the time they are refffered to as algae eaters. I just never heard them called otos in the stores or in general conversation. Thanks for the link though. And your right I didn't look very hard. Plus I goolged Otto. And it came up as resturants.

There is a whole site devoted to them, but I can't remmebr the name

The website is http://www.otocinclus.com/

A good site for otocinclus information, but it hasn't been updated in almost a year.

Otocinclus are some of my favorite fish. I keep them in large groups in my planted aquaria. I supplement their diets with cucumber, zuchinni, peas, green beans, and algae wafers.

Here's another good resouce.

BTw, Otocinclus and siamese algea eaters (if this is what you're referring to) are NOT the same fish.
