what you posted and what Mr West's comment was about are in no way related. His remark was about a specific time. That being the responce in the first 48 to 72 hours. The majority of those unable to leave were black, and in that time right after the hurricane was gone little to no aid was getting to these black individuals.

Kanye spoke from his perceptions about what seemed to be true AT THAT TIME. Just because he has not made a statetment to the oposite does not mean he thinks Bush has not done anything to help since his comment.


His comment does not describe his opinion for all time, just at that particular point in time. The basis of that opinion has changed so why say he has that same opinion now?
