If you want to find a way to kill your fish check out this link . Specifically the minimum tank size I mean 30 gallons for Pacus & Oscars. When I sent him an e-mail the e-mail said ask the expert I mean come on. He is a troll :troll: Here is the link for the pacus

Don't you guys know about pacu that only grow to 6"? I have seen them being sold a lot at my LFS, they are every bit similar to the ones that grow big, they even have the same scientific name. They have been specialy bred so they can survive in small tanks. They eat virtualy the same food and need the same water parameters.

Only problem is their life span, 6 months as oppossed to 30 YEARS

You crack me up AD! Lol

Thanks, but it really is a shame about pacus and how they are treated.

the real thing that bothered me is this egocentric, west coast attitude based from .... MONTANA!

piranah are not banned or regulated because Hollywood glorified them! (i'm a connesseur{but not of spelling... hehehe} of punctuation. if i use a ! i mean it!) they are frowned upon because piranah are so adaptive they have taken over backwaters and small bodies of water because they have no natural predetors in those waters. unless you count winter.... but near water outages (factories, muni systems) this doesn't even apply. yup even in the Misssissippi.

and i'm glad s'he put a testimonial against the betta vase. hopefully his peers approved it first.

rip away people... this is a pubished work. not like rippin on posters. FLAME.

Welcome to the world wide web, where any moron can have their very own poorly researched site.

It does rip on betta vases and painted fish...

They just don't believe in research and facts. Since their advice counts for as much harm as any good the site will ever accomplish it's crap. Maybe we should get a copy of this post to the author, they could use for testimonials on how truly crappy the site is!

yes, graphic

the stance on betta vases and painted fish is passe. any real contribution to the world of internet aquaria is centered in science and informed opinions. this site is glaringly short in both.

i'm guessing (or hoping) it was a class web design assignment that had no checks on content because the format was good enough, and the instructor had no idea.

sarcasm: thank goodness webdesign is a common curriculum requirement.
