worm like thing on clown knife

my clown knife has a worm like thing growing on the side of its body.Its not moving or anything and theres also a little bump on right above the worm looking thing

can someone describe what this is and tell me how to get rid of it?

anchor worm... not sure, when a goldfish at work had one we netted it, then rippied it out, then used melafix.

Use the Tank Buddies - Parasite tablets. Follow the instructions, works great. DO NOT RIP IT OUT! I did that the first time and my fish ended up getting worse and worse. Even if you rip it out the head is still in the skin. Tank Buddies worked great, it's by Jungle I believe.
