i want to keep the shell, should i boil it?

i had it for nearly 2 months, it was pretty cool. i was told it was boring because it did not do anything, but it moved enought for me to enjoy. after i do some research on what might of cause its death, i'm getting a new one.

clams and other shellfish foul water....good luck with it though.

Bake it for 1.5 hour

Sorry for you lack of ants problem. :D I have thousands running in my walls and I'm affraid to spray them cause they are near tanks. I'll learn to live with them.

You shell can be boiled, so the flesy parts of the clam will be easier to remove.

You can eat it if you are desperately hungry and you already ate your dog and cat. Some of us don't have spare money for food: fish are first. :D

had an ant prob due to fish flakes that didnt make it into the tank. just put some poison granules on near the ants that should take care of it.

snow!? its 85degrees here, and we've got plenty of ants, ill send you some

Clams and shellfish foul water? I've never heard of such a thing... They are filter feeders, how the heck could that foul the water?

NOTE: Putting dead clams in your fishtank is not recommended, it may foul the water. :dive:
