Red eye tetra info

I have two Red eye tetras, I need to add some more to get a real school I know, but the two I have I noticed are swimming weird, I am wondering if its just the way they swim cause both are doing it. The rest of the tank is fine it appears. The red eyes kind of swim and turn on their side as they make a turn, then will swim up and float down a bit. It's actually a bit amusing to watch, but It just seems a bit strange.

I have one that is with a red and black tetra (don't know what it is called). My red eye is very erratic in his swim habits - sometimes so much so I swear he's gone crazy. But, I am learning after 5 months that is just his personality. He tends to also find a spot and stay in it jerking around like he's having a seizure...just normal weird swimming pattern...hope that helps that mine is healthy and does similar things!
