Hi everyone.
I am having trouble with a fluval 304 canister...
There is a pretty much constant stream of tiny air bubbles that get blown out along with the water being returned to the tank.
The nozzle is completely under the surface.
Does anyone have any ideas where this air is coming from, and especially how to get rid of it.
Thanks in advance for everyone's time.

When was the last time you cleaned the canister out?

I cleaned it this past Sunday.

either you have air still trapped in the canister from when you cleaned it (unlikely) or its got a leak somewhere and is pulling air in from the atmosphere. i'd say check the priming stem and make sure its seated properly.

yes, the primimg stem is seated nicely.
Is there a chance that air could be getting im through a pinhole in the hose or something?
Also, after cleaning the canister, I will top it up with water before hooking it back up. After the lid is secure I will pour water though the two holes at the top...but after the water level reaches the top, water will start to pour out where the unit seals with the lid. The o-ring looks fine though and it is seated very securely. Could this have any thing to do with it?
