Okay, in most post there seems to be a reference to drinks....so name your favorite poison.
I myself am a Rum gal. Straight-up no ice, maybe a coke chaser but not neccisary.
So...what is your favorite?
Raindrops... its a shot around here... it contains raspberry sourpuss, bols blue and a little bit of sprite.... you drop the shotglass of sourpuss and bols into a glass of sprite and chug! (dont use that much sprite).
or you could be like me and skip the sprite lol

Beer. Especially Leinie BigButt, only available this time of year.
Oh, and occasionally a nice White Zinfandel.
Very rarely a margarita.

Usually I drink either Wild turkey, Crown, or Jameson. I do like tequila or Jager from time to time, as well.
One of my fav. mixed drinks is a 'Red Death'
It is basically a Kamakazi shot mixed with a Alabama Slammer.
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz Southern Comfort
1/2 oz amaretto
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz sloe gin
1/2 oz lime juice
orange juice
I prefer to make the Kamakazi shot 1st, pour it in a glass of ice, then make the Alabama Slammer, pour it in and lightly stir the drink.
This drink tastes alot like a Hawaiian punch but will absolutely knock your socks off.
3 8oz drinks and you'll be feelin' fine. ;)

I rarely drink. I think I've had two drinks in the past year and a half, but my favorite beer is one made close to where I live. It's Shiner heffeweizen (I probably spelled that wrong), and I love real German beer. I also like Margaritas.

If I'm drinking Tequila at the bar, it's usually double shots of '1800' chilled, no lime, no salt.
'Patron Anejo' is my favorite Tequila, however.

Rum (Bacardi) and coke with a twist of lime...or rum and anything. the last time I had rum straight it was not a pretty sight. Not at all. Fortunately I knew the cops involved......................
Well, I probably only have about one or two alchoholic beverages a year....I don't even know what more than half of those drinks you folks are talking about are....lol......but my father-in-law introduced me to a drink that I think is very refreshing on a summer evening after a long hard day...
A shot of gin with 'citrus frost' and a twist of lime on ice.......
Other than that....just a wine cooler or two.
Nursie, I'll NEVER drink rum and coke again !! LOL...on my 18th birthday my friends and I played a drinking game with rum and coke (since I was the first to turn "Legal", guess who picked up the rum) That was the ONLY time I ever came close to loosing my dinner after drinking !! Never again !
My favorites...Actually, I love that Mike's Hard Lime.
Whiskey...Canadian Club
And that drink made out of Cranberry juice and Vodka. *I know, I don't know what it's called.*

I don't drink alcohol. Haveing multiple personalities is more than enough crazyness for me... I'm mostly recovered from that though YAY.
After spending years trying not to loose time and not to do things that I wouldn't have otherwise, I'm not going to take anything that brings those ailments back.

I don't like alcohol. I'll enjoy a good bottle of wine on occasion, during supper, but that's about it.
I've tried to like it, but it's just the taste of anything alcoholic that I just don't like . . . If i'll drink anything thoguh, it'll probably be Vodka, with lots n lots of lime.. and 7up, (or hype), lots of ice, and I'll wait till its totally watered down, so it ends up tasting like lemonaide. . .. ;)

A Cosmopolitan? I like those too.
My favourite is a Bellini. I especially like the slushy version made at Milestone's Restaurant: A frozen blend of premium white rum, peach liqueur and champagne, topped with Boone's sangria.
Yes, I like girlie drinks. :D
Frangelico and Chambord (PB&J shooter) or straight Almeretto
80% of the time, I just drink good 'ol Rolling Rock or Corona, with LIME, of course! :D
10% of the time, I'm in the mood for a glass of good red wine, my new favorite is La Crema Pinot Noir, but I also like some aussie shiraz's and you can't go wrong with a Kendall Jackson Merlot.
The other 10% of the time it's cocktail night! We keep Capt. Morgan and Coke, White Russians and Bombay Sapphire and Tonic in the house at all times. Cocktail night is generally reserved for a Friday or Saturday night when hubby will be around to help with the kids the next day.... you know, in case of accidental over-consumption! ;)
I had a WONDERFUL Chocolate Martini when my hubby and I were out to dinner at a swanky joint one night. The waitress could only tell me the ingredients that were in it, she couldn't tell me the amounts. I've bought all the ingredients, but I can't seem to manage to make just the right combo that they served me that night.... I'm still working on it!

Well, sub...We can still toss some back someday.:) You can drink your tequila anyway you like. Occasionally I'll drink it with lime and salt, but normally I just drink the stuff straight up. It has to be chilled, though....warm tequila is just...nasty. When I do take it with a lime, the lime normally tastes nastier than the tequila...lol. Biting into a raw lime or lemon puts a funny look on my face.

You should try Vodka and Gatorade some time. Especially with the Frost flavors of gatorade (Cascade Crash is really good). Plus you'll get the added benefit of staying hydrated which means no hangover. :) I usually mix it 50/50. I pour the gatorade into a larger pitcher or container and then add the same amount of vodka and keep it in the fridge or freezer. Makes great shots.

Gotta be a maritimer. Is that your two favorite drinks or are you mixing Nova Scotia beer and Newfie Screech together for a little national unity?
When I was a very young lad I mixed a couple dozen beer with a bottle of Whiskey, got caught on fire with camp fuel and spent the rest of the night in shock chucking up the beer and whiskey. Put me off hard liquor for a very long time. Never effected my beer consumption though.
These days I don't drink much, when I do it's ussually beer. Molson Canadian or Sleemans. I'll have an Ocassional Scotch or a Rusty Nail.

I no longer Drink, but back in the College days it was straight Tequila (snort the salt, throw the lime away) and Rum and Coke for a chaser. I really enjoyed good wine, and of course being a Frat guy beer was a staple. Not too many things I didn't enjoy drinking in those days. With my body mass, and the strong German heritage I was able try a lot of different things, in large quantities. :p:

Wow, I missed out on this one. My birthday was friday and for presents I got 2 bottles of jager a bottle of jack and a bottle of crown. I guess my friends know me pretty good. I wonder if they knew I would finnish all four of them off by now? I like almost anything. Jager is great, but I find I will polish off a bottle before I even realize how hammered I am. Any beer is good. 90% of the liquer out there I like. No white wine, but any red is good. You guys ever try flaming sambuka? good stuff there. Snowshoes, long islands, jager bombers(jager shot dropped into a mug of red bull) vodka red bull vodka sprite, woodfords reserve is my favorite whisky at $50 a bottle. And I have always played for the green team;)

If you have not tried it, find some Mackelsons triple stout. It looks bad (about the color of motor oil) but the flavor is excellent, and the aftertaste is amazing (If you like chocolate) It's originally an English beer, but is now brewed and bottled in Cinci. Ohio. By far the best Dark beer I've ever had and heavy enough to substitute for bread in a properly balanced diet.

Brewed with chocolate hops, instead of the standard bitter dark beer aftertaste, you get a mild flavor of good chocolate. Not enough to clash with the beer flavor but definately chocolate.
