Apparently if you want to keep him small, you could keep him in a 3 gallon tank... http://cgi.ebay.ca/BIG-BALA-SHARK-FRESHWATER-TANK-FISH-LIVE-AQUARIUM-SHINY_W0QQitemZ7732650587QQcategoryZ66795QQrdZ1QQc mdZViewItem

thats terrible! for a start feeping a 3 1/2" fish in a 3g OR SMALLER tank is just cruel but a keeping a very quick active fish such as a silver shark in one is just evil.it also says that they are related to sharks, hmm i don't think thats quite right.

"Over 1 foot, with big aquarium! I would reccommend atleast a 3 gallon for him. Smaller is fine, if you want to keep him small!"

Well I e-mailed the people bidding on it just to make sure they knew what they were buying but it turns out one is Chevo. The other has a 55 gallon would should be fine for now at least until he gets a bigger tank. I haven't gotten to e-mail the seller yet though.

FWIW he added a revision claiming he meant a 30 gallon tank not a 3. Still too small a tank and he's still a d-bag.

Here was the sellers reply "30 gallon is plenty big enough. I keep her in a 55 gallon. Thanks". Mabye if enough people contact him he will remove the listing.

Dont buy your fish from the petstore, buy them online where you know they are parasite and disease free!!
Teh interweb killzors all disease!!!!!!!11one
Other than that silly line, who the heck would bid on a bala shark on ebay. It isn't really big or anything and they are so easy to find in the stores. That seems liek a big waste fo money. Sure a rare or hard to find fish, but a bala shark (though of course according to the listing they are related to sharks).

LOL..check out the bidders..
It's the battle of the 0 feedback buyers
How do you say shill bidding...

I think that tigersurfing or whatever is the shill bidder(in other words it is the seller who makes a new acount so that he can bid up people). That account has only been up for 2 days definitely a shill bidder. :mad2:

I have picture proof that the statement below is not true....
Get references, or spend little money from new Internet sellers. Let them prove to you that they sell quality items.
