Okay so there are some white spots on mr. gourami and mr. rasbora. Yep, it's ich.

My tank is planted, and I have some rotala indica, crypts, wisteria and water sprite. I have java fern but I know that can handle salt.

What about these other plants?

I have no intention of using chemicals since I have loaches, otos and shrimp. But I'm worried about my plants, as I just started getting a good plant mass going. Does anyone have experience with these plants and the salt treatment?

I've cured ich in my planted tank with 1 tablespoon of salt per 10 gallons and maracide at full strength following the dosage information on the bottle. My temperature was raised to 82* F and my tetras which are normally sensitive to medications did not even get stressed with the malachite green in the medication (Probably because it is the zinc free salt form). Just make sure you shake the bottle well before you dose if you choose this route. My plants did fine throughout the treatment.
