View Full Version : 2 m and f albino convicts fighting all the time
I have 2 albino convicts in a 20 gallon tank and one of them is always on the top corner and when she comes down the other always chases her away from the bottom is this normal

well they are fighting because they are in a 20g, you probably have 1 pair and the other just beat up all day, one way you could rememdy this, is to place more decor in the tank so that all the fish cannot see each other all the time and therefore cannot beat up on the oddball.

Well im sorry if ipost is wrong but there is only 2 convicts in there one male and one female and she is always in the top corners of the tank. can anyone tell me why that is i hope i was not fooled and they both are males or femals

Hello,
Sounds like you might have two males... females always have orange scales on the belly, so if there is no orange on either of them in that area, you probably have two males.
If you do have 1 M and 1 F, I really don't know what to say. Add some more decorations to break up territory size and hopefully they'll get better aquainted!
