8 out of 12 for me too. I certainly didn't find any of it offensive. It was very informative.

7-12...I'm sooo stupid. :(
I hope Santa isn't offended by my lack of Xmas knowledge.
I'll probably only get a lump of coal and a rotten potato for Xmas now.
:thud:

I got eight of them, but what puzzles me, is #12...
"The 'X' is simply a shorthand for the greek word for Christ, "Xristos." Hardly a sign of disrespect. Of course, some people will continue to insist on taking offense at the abbreviation, but that's probably because they're not aware of the abbreviation was derived."
Years ago, way back in "grade school", our teacher back then was shocked the class didn't know how the abbreviation "Xmas" came about. How are children supposed to know this?? Guess she grew up Greek... :thud:

8 out of 12. Who knew the translation for mistletoe was dung on a twig? And that prompts people to want to kiss? Yuck!
(No, I didn't bother to read the "informative" article about mistletoe. :D )
