dark spots

About a week ago I noticed dark spots on my aquarium decor. It didnt look fuzzy or anything just dark brown spots started appearing on everything. ( The decor, plastic plants...ect.) I wasnt really sure what it was but then today I awake to see my female guppie with a dark spot around her eye. she looks like she got into a fight...
I assumed it was a fungus and I put a fungus clear tablet in the tank(10 gal) its by tank buddies and its supposed to clear fungus and bacteria...

I was also wondering if my male guppie had a parasite because sometimes he seems to go crazy and start swimming up and down the side of the tank. And if that is a parasite and not just cabin fever then can I use the parasite tablet at the same time that im using the fungus clear?

Also my female guppie just had a batch of fry...this wont hurt them will it? :sad:

Please help...Im not sure what to do ...And I dont want my guppies to die...

not sure about the guppy, but it sounds like you have alge of some sort. I had it couple of times when I left the lights on all night and espically before I dimmed the amout of light getting into the tanks. It wasn't really a big problem for me, I just washed the couple of plastic plants that had it the worst and made sure to turn the lights out at night. It it is on your fish too, well then I can't offer any advice.

WOW thanks sooo much. I have been leaving the light on a lot. And I also turned up the heater just a tad about a week ago because of new fry. (to about 81-82 degrees. I just thought that the fry needed a certain amount of light and so I was trying to help them..
