Holy Crap!! Maybe your midas is camera shy? Really though,that is the most odd thing I have ever seen.I hope someone here can help.
 
actually it is my Red Devil.. and there is nothing wrong with it .. it was just that i was takeing pics of him and of course everyone knows cichlids they dig pits.. well he just had his head in one while i took a pipc of him and it was just the angle of him and were i was sitting on my love seat ..lol.. i was about 6 feet away from him and zoomed in on him ..lol..
it was just a funny pic that i had to post .. he looks like a Ostritch .. :joke:
