Is it ok to have some cichlids with my goldfish. I have 4 goldfish they are pretty good in size the smallest one is little bigger then a quart. These are here for a little while. I have 4 of them and they are small
it depend how much you like your gold fish , but i have heard of people keeping gold fish as dither fish for cichlids so who knows they would probably fine for a while any way seen as those the cichlis are still very small
how big are theycichlids and how long are you placing them with the gold fish for.

Cichlids are small. I prob have them with my gold fish for about a week or two. I have to put my hex tank togather

convict cichlids and the goldfish is a black moor and two i got at a bait shop

you should be fine since the convict is still small (1"-2"), he probably isnt too aggressive as they get as they get older, but i would just keep an eye out on the tank and make sure the convict isn't chasing them around too much. cause the goldfish are slow swimmers and the convict is much faster than the goldfish.
