they dont seem to be doing much of anything...the just sit at the bottom of the tank and wave their fins slowly.....and im just now noticing that some of their fins are a bit shredded....i couldnt tell in the tank at the lfs....what is going on with these guys?

you have a list there and some of those fish might just be acting normally, i dont knwo though, so tell me which fish you are talking about

if you recently put them in there, just keep feeding small portions and do more waterchanges than usual until they seem fine.
do you use salt in your water? what are your nitrates, nitrites, and ammonia as well as PH?

You can see in his sig what fish they are (I laugh though because there are so many species that could be called all those things)... ;)
As for your fish:
Are all of them doing this? Any reccent additions? Any reccent water changes/tank maintenence? What are you feeding them? Have you tested the water reccently?

If you just got them (day or 2) the sitting on the bottom most likely is stress. shredded fins could be nipps from other fish. The fins will heal. aslong as your tank is healthly it is not any really bad.
Any reccent water changes/tank maintenence? What are you feeding them? Have you tested the water reccently?
