Ok, so I have a Terrarium/aquarium with fire belly newts and toads, 1/3rd of the tank is land and the other 2/3rd of the tank is water. The water section is about 3.5 inches high in water.
I want to Add some plants that can survive in this environment.
There is a slow current from a whisper 10i filter, which flows the water down a rock into the water (this is idea for newts and frogs I believe)
So what would be some good plants to look for in LFS's that can grow in a few inches of water, provide a place for firebellys to sit on and hide in.?
NEW TANK IDEA:
1st I have a 10 gallon with a nice plastic lid with light. I would like to turn this tank into a plants and snails tank. I have never done one beore so I need some advice. I would like to stock this tank with different plants but also plants I can use in the primary tank.
I need suggestions on Filter Type, Brand and I would assume I also need a good powerhead. Overkill is fine for filters I don't care about an extra $20 or $30...
2nd, I would like to breed guppies in this tank also, what is needed? I would be transfering them as they breed into the main tank with the newts and firebellies, where they will live happy untill a new or toad eventualy decideds to eat them.
Will this work?
THANKS IN ADVACE!
