For any Ac memebers who want to show up. we are going to do another plant swap meet in Byerly's parking lot Monday December 26th at 6:00 pm.
The rules are:
1. any Ac Memebr is welcome
2. ther eis no requirement to bring anything
3. if you have some excess of something and want to share bring it.
4. it is noce if you can bring your own plastic bag or bucket to take stuff home in
5. Of the items listed if you wish to speak for anything in advance PM me
6. No garantees, no liability no strings attached.

The idea is to share plants (and or animals) that would otherwise go to waste. Anything that doesn't get given away goes to Byerly's on trade (At least for my part) . I just hate to throw away pllants that others might want. I usually only bring animals on request, because the transport is stressful. Right now The only animals I could bring would be Pond snails or red ramshorn snails and honestly if you get plants from me and don't sterilize them you will have pond snails and red ramshorns soon enough.

I'll be bringing:
Christmas moss
Potted red melon swords
Potted crypts
some red temple
Some ammania Gracilis (I think)
bolbitus (African)
Some java fern
Bacopa
A little bit of Java moss
Sunset Hygro
Maybe a few assoted annubias (nana, barteri, etc.)
Maybe a few other things I find when I clean out the tanks

Is haggis a special holiday treat?Nah it's just an occassional thing, except Jan 25th (http://www.rabbie-burns.com/index.cfm) it's traditional.

What happens if you don't have anything to swap? Do you sell?

Essentially for me, I just put anything I have to get rid of out on the table. it's free to a good home rather than throwing it away. I'm not into it for profit really. Everyone elsecan do as they please with anything tha belongs to them.

Plants are free to anyone who wants them. I'd only end up throwing most of them away anyway.

This one didn't have many participants. We ended up selling quite a bit to the LFS (never really a great profit in that) we have done this every couple of months though. so several folks in the area Have gained a few plants. John and I tend to swap stuff back and forth pretty regularly.

I'll let you know the next time I come to Michigan an you can place an order ;)
