Well, the day has come. The two Oscars that I adopted from my heartless friend have outgrown their 55 gallon home. The 7" Oscar attacked the 4.5" Oscar around the tank while I was at work almost to his death.

I took big Oscar out of the tank and placed him in a 30gal backup tank for timeout. The smaller Oscar has been recovering well for 36 hours and is behaving VERY happily for about 24 hours. Big Oscar seems to know he's in trouble and is depressed about being removed but I can't lose fish that way, so my rescue mission needs rescue now.

They both need a new home and I didn't expect to spend $1400 on a bigger tank for another 2-3 months.

Anybody interested in 2 awesome Oscars in the DC Metro area? I am sure that they'll get along if they have room to separate when they need to.

For all of you newbie bashers, begin flaming now... :(
