You can see in my signature what I have in my 55 gallon tank. I am wanting to add maybe two angels to it. I have to do some work on regulating my ph be fore I can even think about it. It is running at 6.0 which I have found out is NOT good. But, I have started the process of slowly raising it. I will have another post in another forum with questions on that to make me feel better about doing that right. But, once I have that experience under my belt and can keep my ph at or a little above 7, I was wondering if my rainbows would let me have angels. They are very active. Killies are too. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I think you would be fine adding some angels. The rainbows may do a litlte fin nipping but i don't think you will have any major problems.

you may find it to be a problem with the gourami's too. they tend to be fin nippers

Actually a pH of 6 is fine for Angels. They do well in more soft, acidic water. My pH is at 6 in my larger tanks and not one of my fish seem to mind the water. Actually they all thrive in it. Most of them, especially the Angels have batches of fry once a month or so.
I agree with the other posts. You could run into some trouble with the gourami and rainbows, however it's always a 50/50 with these guys. Some will get along great with one another and others just won't tolerate each other. I've never had a problem with compatability and fighting between my angels and anyone else as of yet, though some may say that im just lucky
Adding 2 Angels should be okay, although I wouldn't add anything else after that.
As for your pH "issues" If your pH is staying constant at 6.0 then leave it. Don't try to adjust it especially if your fish are all doing well. You will end up having more problems trying to keep the pH stable to where you would like it more so than just leaving it be.
