Is that an SAE you have there in the last pic ?

That's what it's supposed to be, but after doing some research, I'm not so sure. I could be a false SAE according to some of the web sights I've been to. Either way, they're (I've got 2) always at work trying to find a meal!

on the bottom, I'm using washed play sand. as far as the goldfish and anglefish, neither even look twice at my neons. I've been doing angels with neons for years and have never had a problem. I believe it's all in the timing! I set the tank up with neons first. Once they get settled, say a month or so, I add small angels. I have no problems adding additional neons anytime after that, even after the angels get big. The angels just seem to not notice the newbees as they school with the older neons. Works for me!

You can get it at Home depot or Lowes, it's used in Kid's sandboxes. Just wash it before use.
