One of my Ottos died today. I bought two of them several months ago, to grow out in my 5 gallon tanks (w/ Betta tankmate). One was significantly larger (growing nicely since I got him), and over the last couple days I noticed a white patch on his head that seemed to be growing a little each day. Like his coloring was being chipped off. He was chubby and active, but today he's dead, and I'm guessing the white head thing had something to do with it. Any theories? Just want to make sure it's not something contagious or treatable should my other little one acquire it. Thanks!
