I wasnt sure exactly where to put this - hope chit-chat is ok.
I have this used 5.5G acrylic tank. It also got a whisper C (i think its for up to 20 or 30G tanks). My wife had the tank sitting around for many many years and noone really remembers where it came from.
It has some scratches and water stain buildup (the whisper does too) i cleaned most of it off with vinegar but i guess i missed a few spots. The tank holds water and the whisper works (it doesnt have a cartridge in it though). I tried it for about 20 minutes in the bathtub - no leaks. It comes with a hood for screw in bulbs.
I thought about making it a betta tank - but after seeing my betta in the 10G i wouldnt put one in anything smaller. I was brought up not to waste stuff so i kinda dont just want to throw it in the trash if there is a chance someone might still have use for it.
The big Q now is - do you think its worth trying to sell the tank & filter online ? I'd be happy to get 10$ for both - i think shipping would also be around 10$. Do you think that'd be already too much to make it interesting for anyone ?
