Hey folks.

I was hoping to get some input and opinions on what i should stock my new tank with. I currently have a 75G stocked with 2 Green terrors and 1 Oscar. I have recently purchased a 125G tank and have completed the cycle. My decision is who will move from the 75 to the 125 and perhaps what I will add to the 125 as well. I am quite interested in the Jaguar (Manguanese) cichlid lately after some research. My question is whether or not the Jag will be suitable for the 125. 1.. Will the 125 be of sufficient size and 2.. will I be writting an eventual death sentence for any of the other 3 that I transfer from the 75..Anyone have any thoughts?

i think you should put a pair of golden jaguars in the 125g.

The Jaguar would be a great choice. They are one of my favorite large cichlids. They say they are gentle giants (well except to little fishes;) ).

I would not recommend placing a jaguar in with the others. The GT's and oscar are both south american and the jag is a very terratorial central american. Jaguars tend to dominate there tanks like most large guapotes do and like to be dominate cichlid. Mixing SA and CA cichlids is usually not a good idea. Not to mention a jag would easily overpower the less aggresive SA cichlds and become a problem when fully mature.
