My blood parrot has had slivers of black in his fins since i got him. I wish he had more. I think there was a dot on his lower lip when I got him also. I have wached for the past couple days and a second dot has appered on the lower lip, and both has been getting larger each day, now one giant dot in the mid region of the lower lip. Is this just developement of his colors or somthing else? Why would a Lg BP like that still improve and develope his looks? I think it might be that bmost convicts are gone and one of the green terrors, or it could be that i ran out of flakes and have been substituting them with medium Aquarian cichlid pellets. What do you guys think it is: more space, different food , a compination of the 2, a disease, or other?

no its pure orange and always has been pure orange. some varieties have black areas on them (but complitly black is usually died).there is one on the internet that has tiger paterned because its color is naturally rich. If it were died I would have still adopted it from lincoin, but since I am aginst dying I would have made sure it was healthy and trade the 8" BP in at the LFS for something really good!! :idea2: ;) ! I have had him for 5-6 monthes and color Dyed fish wear off after about 2-3 monthes
