Do some of you have (in your state/province) license plates the have aquaria, or fish related designs to them?

Here's some Florida has to offer...

Ooops!
Thought all would be the same size...

Anyone else notice they have two that say "save our seas" and "protect our reefs" immediately following a plate that states "go fishing" which is one of the dangers to seas and reefs? Kind of contradicatory.

I see it differently...

I think the fishing plates help educating the public, rather than detroying fish habitats. There are so many regulations, sportfishing is not a bad thing. When one wonders why there are all the restrictions and limits on fishing, one understands life cycles of fish and other watery creatures (shellfish, etc...). Fish that are too large to keep by law, are released to spawn again.

Urban sprawl and developers cause incredible damage in the name of progress...

..Just my opinion.

I was making a joke though you are right. I used to live in Florida actually and they have some fairly complicated and detailed laws on fishing. I never did get around to getting a license but I would've loved to do some fishing. I never keep anything I catch so they'd go straight back in the water.

It's just the "average" person doesn't fish so when they see the plates, it doesn't really make much sense to them.
