I justbought a 24g Nano cube and love the blue LED lights in the hood. I woud like to add these lights to my other tanks. I searched the web and everything I have found so far has more lights than I want. I am concerned about how to mount them as well. Does anyone know how these things are mounted? All my tanks have the regular flourescent light fixtures that come with the tanks. I really want these lights, but have no idea how to incorpoate them into the tanks. Please help!!!

I've been using CCFL tubes mounted to my lighting hood along with the fluoroscent fixtures. It's wicked easy, altho i went the long route, putting in a switch, soldering connections and cleaning up the wiring behind the reflector.

Looks sweet at night!

Go to the electronics store and buy all the blue LED lights you want, 24 awg wire, a switch, and a circuit board, some resistors, and build your own circuit. It would help if you knew an electrical engineer. Instructions not included. :joke:

ditto. I did it and it woked great for under $15. If you don't like to play with electronics, buy a electrical converter like those used for discmans and stuff, set it to 3V and connect the leds to the wires. If you don't know how to connect them, get someone to do it for you.
