I have always liked Cichlids, but I have a small tank (10g) and am aware that most cichlids won't work in one. I have heard of a few people keeping a pair of rams in a ten gal, and I wouldn't mind trying. However, currently in my 10g I have two botias and a clown pleco. Would a pair of Rams go ok with these fish or would I need something else? Thanks in advance for any help!

Also, I recently looked at the site my lfs has and found these - A. Borelli's Dwarf Cichlid. They look quite pretty from the pictures, and it says they only get to be about 2.5 inches. Would a pair of these do alright?

Apisto's and rams should be fine in a 10g, but since all your other fish are bottom-dwellers, they may get harassed by the cichlids (apistos and rams are bottom-dwellers as well and territorial to boot).

Well I have had problems with my botias being a bit aggressive anyway, so I was hoping that the Cichlids would be aggressive enough that they would just stay away from each other.
