I am in the process of setting up a 125 G tank that will house Malawi Cichlids.The tank will have for filtration an AC 110 and an Eheim 2217.The substrate will be crushed coral.
To cycle the tank I am going to remove the substrate from a healthy 30 g tank and the canister filter to place on the new tank.
My questions are..
1. Should doing this cycle my tank?
2. I see the product bio-spira discussed.Would I need to add this in addition to the media from the established tank?
3. Should I add all my fish at once or wait?
