Whats the best way to clean a tank with fry? I have a pair of Convicts with about 75 fry (gnat cloud) in a 10gal. and its time for a water change/cleaning. Do I siphon of the top and not clean the gravel or do it normally just working around the fry and hope for the best? The chemistry in this small tank will get out of wack in a hurry without good water care. Whats the best way without messing up the family?

Hold your thumb over the outflow of your siphon hose, if fry get too close just stop the flow. Go about business as usual.

Maybe you could forego the stirring up of the substrate just for now...

There is a great little piece of plastic to buy for stopping siphoning quickly; I have found it a lot easier than stretching my other arm to the end of the hose. You hold it the entire time you are working and just have to press in with your thumb at any time. There are little grooves that hold it shut, then you just flick it with your thumb to release it again. You can find them at beer/wine making stores. Mine cost 49 cents Canadian (plus taxes).
