I was at the store a few minutes ago. I bought the gar, his size is about 7.5" to 8". I got the mudskipper reserved till friday. I was talking with the employee, and said how I wish the M.S. would show off his dorsal fin. The employee told me that since he was already paid for and belonged to me, that I could hold him and try to feed him and such. I decided that I wanted to see the dorsal. I lefted the lid and the employee said "every mudskipper I've seen will hide as soon as anyone approaches the tank." The mudskipper looked at my hand as it crept into the tank and jumped right into it! I looked back and saw how amazed my mom and Derick (the employee) were. then I took it to the floor and watched jump five inces from palm to palm for a bit before returning it to its temporary 10gal retail tank. FROM PALM TO PALM!!!!! it was just like a frog! an extremly accurate and social (to me ) frog!! There is always at least one pet on someones life that is trusting and trainable that has a bond with its kepper. I don't mean like a cichlid, training it to handfeed and everything. I could tell that this would be one of them! this would be the second fish I've have that bond with
