I want to make my tank all natural, no plastic plants. But, I also want something that has color to it, maybe something that flowers? Any suggestions? After I see what's out there i'll decide what kind of lighting is best. I've been to plantgeek.com and it seems like everything is green.

If you want plants to flower you really need to have an open top aquarium. Anubias flowers underwater but that's the only one I know of, though I'm sure there must be more.

You can get plants in lots of various shades and mixes of green, red, pink, brown and some purple. Plantgeek is a great site but I don't think the plant database has been updated in a while. A google search should turn up lots of other types.

What kind of tank are you aiming for? Easy, moderate, time consuming :)

anything requiring an open top tank will not work (cats).
I was leaning toward an easier to moderate tank, but really want color. If more color demands more time, so-be-it.
