Should I use full spectrum fluorescent bulb or those specific for plant? For example Hagen has this full spectrum light (Sun-glo) and those specific for plants (flora-glo & aqua-glo). The later emits more blue light than the full spectrum one. What wavelength of light aquatic plants need for photosynthesis?

You're not going to see much of a difference, if any, in plant growth if you choose one ot the other so choose the one that you think looks better.

I have the flora gro, a life-glo (6700), and a daylight spectrum (10,000) over my 25 gallon. In the past, I just had daylight spectrum lights, and the flora seems to have made a big difference with my rotala indica.
