Plans? Upgrades? Changes? New species? New equipment? What are your plans for your aquariums in 2006?

For me: Well, since we're moving to California, and took down all the tanks to sell the house, just getting them setup back up will be the big concern. We're reducing, so will probably go with just the 120's. We're thinking of setting up a CA coastal native tank, if we can scrounge the permits and such--really looking forward to the research for that one. If we do go that route, the other 120 might end up as a planted FW setup--those metal halides should be good for something, after all!

Protein skimmer and more live rock for my 55 gal. FOWLR tank. I only have a couple pieces in so far...

Wo and goodluck Orion Girl! Ca. here you come. Cool.
Planted 120? MH too. Will support all those red plants I longed for.

I suppose my resolution will be to cut back on tank spending (spent 40 dollars today on a nice piece of xenia) to save money for next January I want to cruise 11 days in the carribean. So my seahorse tank is on hold, I will just have to watch Mogrunda's til next February.

Ok resolution in force as of now!!! :)

Mostly I resolve to stop messing with things and watch the plants and corals grow for a while, but there are a few things.

This week I plan to go up to Baltimore and pick up the Seahorses from Jorge at Draco Marine. People must think I'm nuts to set up a tank and wait so many months before adding the fish.

It's about time I carried through with my promise to volunteer at the National Aqaurium here. Work has settled to a manageable frenzy, and there are no major crises at home, so it should be possible. It would be nice to spend time learning how the grownups do it.

To stop messing with things and watch the plants and corals grow for a while sounds just like what I need to do too...

1) to finally set up my bc coastal tank, permits are on supposedly on the way....well, they cashed the cheque, so let's hope everything is sorted out and they send the permit!...

2) to "complete" my marine setup... (in all honesty the "complete" is intended to be amiguous)... :P

3) find yet another job to pay for all this; apparently 2 jobs aren't enough..... I just brought home ONE piece of marshall islands cured live rock... $140 CDN. and that's wholesale.

mines pretty much to let things grow out. we are starting to save for a new home. im thinking of planning a tank made out of a 500 gallon round water tank. but thats probably 2 years down the road. but i like draw out the plans alot.
