White patches

I have large white patches (anywhere from dime to half dollar size) popping up on my sword plant and also on some driftwood on the other side of the tank. Any ideas as to what it might be? They are a light white. Almost looks like they had talcum powder sprinkled on them.

Maybe patches of snail eggs

Go here to look at it. I am positive it is not snail eggs since I have a feeder snail tank.
