I have 4, people keep on giving them to me. lol
3 boys and 1 girl. The girl is a biter and has nipped my girl friend on the nose. It wasnt pretty. My girl friend was PO'd for a week and wanted the ferret gone but i talked her into letting me keep it. Ferrets are just to cute to get rid of.

I have been around these animals on many occassions. Something about them just isn't right. :)

My friend wants a ferret so he can train it to run up peoples pant legs and bite on command.

Well, here is an interesting fact that many do not know. As pets in the house hold, ferrets are the number 3 mammal, they follow of course Dog and Cats, never tell a cat he's number 2.
They are a fully domesticated animal, do not believe what any one tells you. Most law makers still believe they are an exotic wild animal.
As for nippers go, they are pretty rare, maybe one out of a 100. The reason for this is that they have been bred for the meaness out of them. That is why you rarely see any agressive ferrets. Most animals that are agressive are culled out of the breeding pool. They are not allowed to mate. So eventually, we got very passive and playful ferrets. I found this very interesting when I read this.
