what is a water flow for a 110 tall? I have 3 aquaclear 50s at 270 gph each 2 hight and one in the middle of the tank. I also have a Rena filstar xp3 at 1350 l/h. is that good ? I also have the air up hight on the powerheads is that good or not . I'm just not sure on salt water tanks.

General rule of thumb is 10x your tanks capacity for HOB's 5x for canisters

So for a 110 you would want 1100gph for HOB's 550gph for canisters.

so is what I have good or do I need more ? I have both on there so I really don't know if that's good or bad ?

That totals 1150gph so i would say you are fine. Well with all those filters i would think you have plenty of aggitation, Powerheads are just a plus. Just dont create a washing machine in your tank LOL. Un less you have it full of African Cichlids They love it.

I do believe the FilstarXP3 flows over 340gph anyway so youre still good to go.
