i have a major problem i think im addictide to fish i can sit in front of my tanks for hours just watching i could tell you all kinds of details on each fish i can tell the differnces between the same species of fish. i like making their home as best as i can i spend hours online researching, i can spend hours in many differnt fish stores in my area. i have a fish tank next to me when i sleep. see my problem. oh yeah i look foward to pay day for toys for my fish. and whats worse i think is that my dog will sit with me watching my fishies also. help im an addict :dive2:

i've experienced the euphoria of making tanks look cool and watching fish, but for me, the feeling died out after a week or two. if you really think this is a problem, i'd suggest finding something else to eat up time and money, like buy a computer game or start playing an instrument.

fish are important, but don't let them take over your life

welcome to the hobby. i'm the same way maybe a little more extrem even after a year!!!

lol keep it up.. i dont think the hobby costs 2 much, compared to my other hobbys, lol

It was my shrink who told me to get fish to help me relax. So I did.

Now I find that I am stressed. How can this be? Is the water temp right? Whats my amonia level? What are my water readings? Why are my fish doing that? Where has the other fish gone? Did he get eaten? Real plants or fake? Is there too much light? Do I need to change the water? Is there not enough light? Am I feeding them correctly? How much is that going to cost? Whats that on my tank? Bubbles or no bubbles? Eww.... does that look odd?

Wow, I guess I need to find another hobby to help me relax since the fish doesnt seem to be doing it for me.

lol j/k.

I have been keeping fish on and off for years. Its a fun hobby. Enjoy.

I think it's healthy to have something besides yourself to think about and care for. :)
