I have a couple questions..... in my 25g i have the following:a upside-down catfish, a blue lobster, a 3-line cory, a red sunset gourami, a dwarf gourami, a dwarf yellow gourami, a dwarf turquoise gourami, a small angel and 2 black mollies. I went away for 3 weeks and came back to 3 fish short...my mollies and angel are gone. I was told when I bought the lobster that if he could catch something he would...I watched Pinchy (the lobster) for a couple weeks before I left and other than touching the catfish (since he sucked to lower leaves) he was ok...the catfish would just move up a branch where he couldn't reach him. I also know that my gouramis could eat the mollies which leads to my first question....my yellow gourami is massively swollen and I don't know if "she" is pregnant, sick, or full from 3 fish. I haven't noticed any bubble nests except for a bubble under a leaf that is kinda weird but not a nest. Second question involes the algae....my tank was gorgeous when I left but my boyfriend knows nothing about fish and failed to mention the tank was covered in brown algae. I can get the stuff off the glass but what about the plants and decorations? Thanks so much for any input! Would pics help of either my tank or my fat fish?
