What is about the biggest fish for a 29? Also does a pair of german blue rams work nice in a community tank of this size?

I've read that some people have kept rams in a successful community tank but i advise that they would do better in a species tank (heavily planted). They tend to be very territorial and in a tank that size i would suggest two pairs...three at the most.
