anybody have any tattoos on them ??? If so where?

i would really like one but im not old enough yet :( but when i turn 18 im goin to get a cross on my arm and years many years down the road i want to get my kids names tattooed on my forearms.

I have 4.... pagasus on my chest, a band on my shoulder, a bear paw and sunset on my other shoulder and a tribal butterfly thing across my lower back... don't regret neither of them. I say if you want it, go for it but make sure it's something you really want an not just a passing thought. So far, you seem to be on the right path..... good luck.

I'm planning on getting one this summer. I'm thinking about a heart made of tribal dragons, and then an infinity symbol through the heart (the loops to the infinity symbol will circle the sides of the heart). Right now I'm trying to think of placement...upper back seems like the best spot, but should I go center, or on one of the shoulder blades?

Decisions decisions....

sublime i love the tattoo man ... great band too -lol-

and Dangerdoll did any of them hurt? which one hurts the most?? ... im pretty good with pain so im not worried about that part -lol- and do yours mean nething in particular??

Well, I guess they all mean something..... and from different times in my life, yes. Each has a memory of which I will never forget.
the pegasus = my first was done with an old friend of mine. We went together and it was both of our first. I chose the pegasus because it was the first "collection" item I enjoyed, I don't collect them much these days but the time I did it, was a good time and so was the friend.
The bear paw, was done when I had accompished a painful time in my life, it was a signal for me that I had made it to the sunset. I know, it's corny but it helped.
The tribal thing, my twin and I usually schedule a week during our birthdays to take off work and do things together, just us, and things that just us will enjoy. Her and I got the same tattoo except hers has pink butterflies, mine has blue. It connects us.
The band was a birthday gift. I chose it because I love the band and can't say I'll ever stop.

Let's see, did any of them hurt. Well, the shoulder one's didn't hurt that much at all once you got used to the needle poking. The chest one, I nearly passed out from the pain but once it was done, the pain was almost nonexistent, the lower back one, HOLY MAMA did that one smart! And I honestly can't say which was worse, the pain of getting it done or the week it took to heal.

I have 6, a frog on my hip, hummingbird between my shoulder blades, two hands holding a chinese symbol for "buddy" on my left shoulder (in memory of my late kitty the original Budman, best cat ever!), a butterfly overlapping a tribal on the small of my back, a blackwork tribal above that, and then my nickname Bitsy right above that. I love them all and will be getting more, just have a lack of $$$$$$ at the moment. I'll try to post a couple pics tomorrow.

I have 8 that I've gotten over 9 years .... and I plan to keep going!! None of them hurt, I guess I've been luck that way. Also, all of mine are in places where they are barely noticable - I love my tattoo's and don't mind showing them off, but I just think there's a time and place to show them, so I was very selective about where I got them.

I have kanji on my ankle and on the inside of my left arm. I have little tiny gecko (1.5" X .5") on my inside left wrist, a tiny fishing hook near my elbow pit on my right arm, a maple leaf on my left shoulder, a tribal flame on my right upper arm (near the maple leaf), a pisces symbol on my upper right arm, and 4 tribal gecko's on my upper left thigh.

All of my tattoo's have meaning. I firmly believe that tattoo's should be a symbol of something in your life - something that is a part of you. I also don't think anyone should get their partners names tattooed on them. I have a few friends that have had to have cover-ups done because they've broken up with people... I also have one friend who has her ex bf's name on her back, and she just can't afford to cover it up - luckily her husband has been supportive of this - I jsut can't imagine how he must feel though, when he see's that.

Anyway, here's some of my stuff:

I'll try and get some pictures of my fish hook and pisces symbol later...

Four. Upper right thigh (moon with bird flying), lower outer left calf (Canadian maple leaf w/Canuck lettered across), upper left hip (small red heart) and right lower wrist (heart with a red rose wrapped around it). All felt about the same, with respect to level of pain, that was not difficult to endure. Only the bird/mood and the heart/rose have particular meaning (outside of the obvious for the maple leaf) and relate to people important at a different times in my past, both relationships. I'd love to have more tattoos, but I'm afraid I might not stop. :) Once you get started, ... not sure I could have full body tattoos though, some I have seen tell some great stories.
