I have been soaking a pice for over a month and it still wont sink is there any tricks?

Get some slate rock and lean it against it.Or to hide the slate lay it on the bottom and wrap fishing line around the slate and driftwood.

The way I sink my driftwood is to boil it. I don't know why this works but it does besides you have to do it anyway.

dump hot water in a pail and drop in wood. Put the wood peices in the tank and hold them down for several days. Then they will be sink ready.
