Can't find new fish

Can someone help us? My wife and I have a 135 gallon pond against the front of our house next to our porch. We just moved in a few months ago and finally bought 2 dozen goldfish to put in last weekend. We acclimated them to the water first before letting them go in. Before that even, we had the pond cleaned and conditioned for almost a week. Anyway, from within minutes after putting the fish in, we've barely seen any of them. TWO DOZEN fish and the most we see at a time is maybe 5 or 6. We do have a few pieces of broken pottery in the bottom and some natural plant life as well as a little waterfall. I know some are hiding under the pottery but where are the others? It's been a week. Can anyone shed some light? We want to enjoy our fishies! Maybe we need to get more...

i imagine that your goldfish are stressed, a deep bodied fancy goldfish should have at least 10 gallons per fish, for shallow bodied goldfish like comets, commons, and shubukins need around 20 gallons per fish. radiojoe i assume you bought comets, i hope you realize they will attain length of 12 inches which is beyond crowded for a tiny 135 pond
