my tank is 75 gallon, newly cycled with under an inch sand,40 lbs reef bones and 20 lbs live rock.

I have 7 small fish in it.

would it be ok to add 20 lbs more live rock and 10 lbs or so of live sand at once?

worried about chemical problems or upsetting fish that have made hideouts in the rock already.

I wouldn't add all of that at once. The sand is going to be tricky, if it were my tank I would remove the fish and rocks and even drain most of the water into rubbermaid bins before I added more sand. With that being said, I'm not sure that putting a layer of new sand over the already established sand is such a hot idea either - might be best to just leave the sand be.

As for the rocks - the process might depend on the type of fish... let us know.. .....

Adding the sand would be difficult, messy and entirely unnecessary.

The LR would be OK if done carefully, but again, not absolutely necessary to add.
