I have been reading a bit about the life gaurd filter systems and I like what I see.
If you have any experience with these filters I would love to hear what you think about them.
I am buying my first home soon and will finally have room for the 220 I plan on buying. The tank will be setup salt, Fish only. I will house several trigger fish (My favorites :)).
I plan on having a sump with a large bioball capacity. I will also run my protein skimmer from there.
This is where the Life Gaurd system comes in:
I would like to drill two holes in the bottom of the tank seperate from the overflow and return for the sump. I would like to make what I have seen described as a "Closed Loop" to add water circultaion. This is where I would add lifegaurd's mechanical, chemical, and UV sterilizer modules.
Any opinions on my potential setup would be appreciated as well :)
