This is a very interesting friday the 13th for me.
About two weeks ago I met this girl on myspace and we started chatting a bit. Things started picking up and we talked a bit more. Then wednesday night we talked on MSN for about two hours. We made plans to go out on friday night and swapped numbers. So I told her I would call her the next day (Thursday) to setup where we'd go and all that. So while I was talking to her on the phone, I told her i needed to go to the store to get a soda and she says, "Why don't you just come pick me up and we can go drive around for a bit?" So I do, and everything works out just fine. We have a nice conversation and now the normal awkwardness of the first date is gone. So now tonight i'll be going to play pool with her, drink a few beers and just enjoy a nice evening with her. Kind of unexpected and cool.
